1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Rock! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock misses with a takedown attempt - Andrew sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rock scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rock looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Andrew is avoiding damage well.
Andrew is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Andrew makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Andrew. Rock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Andrew is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jay Rock has got the better of the ground game so far. Andrew slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Andrew actively working from the bottom here. Andrew makes his way to full guard. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rock scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Andrew is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Andrew bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rock's guard. Andrew drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Andrew seems to have locked his on tight now - Rock screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Andrew, as he picks up the win!
