Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Inferno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dante Inferno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joshua Fatu! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inferno throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Inferno looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! No luck with that takedown attempt from Fatu. Fatu instigates a clinch. Fatu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Inferno avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Inferno tries for a takedown but Fatu manages to get underhooks.
Inferno pulls Fatu into guard.
Fatu prevents Inferno from getting back to his feet. Inferno avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fatu tries to free his leg and advance position but Inferno is retaining full guard. Fatu stays in close to Inferno's body and controls the position. Inferno knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fatu on the ground. Fatu decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fatu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Inferno did well to prevent Fatu getting side control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fatu in particular looking to stall. Fatu works his way into side control. Inferno on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Inferno tries to get out of the position. Fatu is trying to get an arm triangle but Inferno is defending well. Fatu stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Inferno enables Fatu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Inferno manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fatu trying to control the position from guard on top but Inferno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fatu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Joshua Fatu was stalling too much, according to the referee. Inferno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fatu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inferno sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fatu somewhat. Dante Inferno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Fatu. Fatu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fatu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fatu takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fatu fails in his attempt to clinch. Fatu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Inferno displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Fatu fails in his attempt to clinch. Fatu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fatu looking for a takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inferno is trying to pull guard but Fatu has him pressed against the cage. Fatu has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Inferno is trying to keep an underhook but Fatu manages to get the takedown into half guard. Fatu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inferno does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fatu tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Inferno pushes Fatu off and gets back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fatu tries to move into range but Inferno moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fatu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joshua Fatu dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Inferno closes the distance and lands a one-two. Inferno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fatu pushes Inferno up against the cage in a clinch. Fatu tries to score a body lock takedown but Inferno shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Inferno jumps guard but Fatu stands there with Inferno around his waist. Inferno gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fatu decides to pull guard. Fatu has Inferno pulled in close to control his posture. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fatu working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fatu seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Inferno throws a strike but Fatu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Inferno is looking to stand up but Fatu isn't so interested in that idea. Fatu wants to control from the top but Inferno keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Joshua Fatu wasn't active enough on the ground. Fatu is looking to clinch. Fatu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Inferno's guard. Fatu won't allow Inferno to get back to his feet. Fatu slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fatu moves into full mount! Fatu is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fatu extends the arm and Inferno is forced to tap!
