Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Renata Sobrawl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Terra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobrawl comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Terra misses with a series of wild punches.
Sobrawl fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Terra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobrawl manages to avoid it.
Sobrawl ducks under a wild hook from Terra.

Terra isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sobrawl stacks Terra on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sobrawl!

Sobrawl seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Terra for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sobrawl breaks from Terra's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Terra sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Sobrawl moves into full mount! Terra won't be happy about that!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sobrawl but Sobrawl pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sobrawl slips a jab and a cross from Terra.
Sobrawl fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Sobrawl counters with a nice uppercut.
Terra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sobrawl sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Renata Sobrawl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Terra.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Terra enables Sobrawl to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Terra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Sobrawl cracks Terra with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

A determined Renata Sobrawl didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
