The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks has his takedown stuffed
and Hansson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hansson rushes Brooks and presses him up against the cage.
Hansson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Brooks's efforts to push away.
Hansson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brooks has Hansson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brooks pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hansson tumbling to the mat - Brooks dives into Hansson's guard.

Hansson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brooks's waist but Brooks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hansson off to one side.

Brooks is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hansson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brooks has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hansson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brooks doesn't care though - he's delighted!
