The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Adbo. Hioki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Adbo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adbo wants it to stay on the feet.
Adbo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hioki at a distance.
Adbo misses the shot to the body.
Mohamed Adbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hioki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adbo was covering up waiting for the punch and Hioki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hioki works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hioki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Adbo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Hatsu Hioki gave a mention to Adam's NORTHERN WILD in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
