and Mapompo counters with a left and a right that stings Del Muro.

Mapompo misses with a few strikes there.

Del Muro doesn't manage to clinch there - Mapompo circles away.

Mapompo tries to land a front kick but Del Muro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Mapompo lands a left and a right that send Del Muro crashing to the mat, dazed. Mapompo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mapompo drops Del Muro with a naaaaasty hook - Del Muro is in real trouble here! Mapompo dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

After the fight, George Mapompo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
