The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

It looks like Aldo Amado has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Amado lands a leg kick that knocks Jackson off balance momentarily.

Jackson gets a clinch.

Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jackson lands a jab-cross combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Amado will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No joy there for Amado, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Amado, pushing him back against the cage.

Jackson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Amado gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Amado lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jackson lands with a left to the head.
Amado throws a punch but it's blocked by Jackson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Amado tries a body shot but Jackson blocks it.

A frustrated look appears on Jackson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Amado tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jackson's elbow.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Amado throws an elbow that misses.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jackson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Amado throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Amado slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.

Amado tries a low kick but Jackson avoids it.
Amado misses with a wild combination.
Jackson closes the distance but Amado moves to the side
and Amado counters with a two punch combo.
Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Amado.
Amado tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Amado swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Amado paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Amado throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Amado drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Amado swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson.
Jackson tries to clinch but Amado is having none of it.
Jackson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Amado lands with a right hand.
Jackson feints a jab promting Amado to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Amado slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circling - Amado throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Amado lands a head kick!
Amado throws a body kick that misses.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Amado swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooh!!! Jackson has knocked Amado down with a huge combo! Jackson steps away and waves a wobbly Amado back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Amado is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Amado moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Amado misses with a lunging right hand
and Jackson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jackson steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Amado is out on his feet! Jackson sets himself and nearly takes Amado's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
