Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Gaiman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiruzen Sarutobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sarutobi has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaiman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sarutobi avoids the head kick by Gaiman.
Gaiman fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Gaiman lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Gaiman throws a head kick but Sarutobi moves out of range.
Sarutobi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sarutobi is squirming around, avoiding Gaiman's attempts to control the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sarutobi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gaiman can pounce on him.
Gaiman feints and then cracks Sarutobi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sarutobi down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sarutobi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gaiman. Gaiman obviously looking to wear him down.
Gaiman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sarutobi can do to turn this around?

Sarutobi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gaiman can pounce on him.

Sarutobi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gaiman.
Sarutobi is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaiman finish him?
Gaiman throws a head kick that misses.
Sarutobi seems to have recovered his senses.
Gaiman tries to sprawl but Sarutobi drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gaiman manages to get to full guard.
Sarutobi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sarutobi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gaiman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sarutobi has managed to get both his arms back between Gaiman's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gaiman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sarutobi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sarutobi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gaiman controls Sarutobi momentarily but Sarutobi frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gaiman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sarutobi rolls with it to try and escape but Gaiman cranks on the arm and Sarutobi is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
