Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Ironheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Schwetty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ironheart's entrance music is Jag - Phone Numbers. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Ironheart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Schwetty! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ironheart dodges the punch combination from Schwetty.
Schwetty throws a series of punches but Ironheart avoids them all with ease. Schwetty falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ironheart counters by clinching up. A hook to the body from Ironheart.
Schwetty wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ironheart has him pressed against the cage. Schwetty tries to break free but Ironheart pushes him back against the cage. Ironheart scores with a shoulder strike. Ironheart changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Schwetty fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ironheart lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Schwetty lands a big head kick that sends Ironheart tumbling to the mat! Schwetty takes a step backwards and waves Ironheart back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ironheart is rocked!
It looks like Jim Ironheart has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch combination from Schwetty misses. Oh Ironheart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schwetty on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ironheart clinches with his opponent.
Schwetty misses with a short punch on the inside. Ironheart seems to have got his legs back now. Schwetty wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ironheart keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schwetty's efforts to push away. Ironheart drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Schwetty gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ironheart. Schwetty wants to break free but Ironheart has control.
Ironheart is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Schwetty pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Ironheart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ironheart keeps control of Schwetty as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ironheart comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Ironheart working some nice short punches in the clinch. Schwetty can't break the clinch.

Ironheart avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Schwetty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ironheart circles away quickly and effectively. A combination from Schwetty does no damage. Schwetty scores with a kick to the body.
Schwetty lands a jab-cross combination. Schwetty looks gassed! Schwetty throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ironheart holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ironheart lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ironheart works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Schwetty has a couple of punches blocked by Ironheart.
Ironheart is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Schwetty can't fight it off and eventually Ironheart manages to take the fight to the floor. Schwetty looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ironheart passes Schwetty's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ironheart wants to free his trapped foot but Schwetty is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ironheart missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ironheart passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Schwetty!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ironheart punching from mount but Schwetty doing a good job of avoiding damage. Ironheart sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Ironheart landing strikes, looking to finish! Ironheart lands a nice shot to the head. Ironheart punching from mount but Schwetty doing a good job of avoiding damage. Ironheart throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Ironheart lands with some strikes. Ironheart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ironheart controlling from mount. Ironheart has control of Schwetty's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Schwetty regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ironheart thowing shots but they're missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Ironheart dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jim Ironheart's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ironheart lands a jab to the head.
Schwetty looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That kick from Schwetty tenderised Ironheart's leg. Ironheart is trying to keep his angry face on. Ironheart shoots in but Schwetty avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schwetty looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ironheart tries to clinch up. Schwetty swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A slapping leg kick lands for Schwetty.
Ironheart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schwetty tries to avoid it but Ironheart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schwetty to the ground. Schwetty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Schwetty tries to bum rush Ironheart with a series of wild strikes but Ironheart uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Schwetty looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Pete Schwetty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwetty throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schwetty ducks right into an uppercut from Ironheart.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ironheart decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Schwetty is breathing heavily. Ironheart controlling the action here. Ironheart is pressing down on Schwetty's thigh, looking to free his foot. Schwetty is holding on for now. Ironheart is working for a kimura but Schwetty is defending it quite comfortably.
Ground and pound from Ironheart. Schwetty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ironheart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwetty avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ironheart. Schwetty is defending against the submission attempts here by Ironheart.
Ironheart passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ironheart sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ironheart is landing with some decent strikes but Schwetty is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ironheart trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ironheart content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ironheart unloads with some shots from mount but Schwetty bucks and avoids them well.
Ironheart tries to control but Schwetty wriggling away. Ironheart throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ironheart breaks from Schwetty's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Ironheart dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jim Ironheart's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Schwetty throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ironheart. Ironheart paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Ironheart is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Schwetty swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ironheart lands a jab to Schwetty's midsection. Ironheart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ironheart content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ironheart not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Schwetty takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwetty avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ironheart. Ironheart wants to take a breather but Schwetty is having none of it.
Jim Ironheart has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ironheart moves in looking to clinch but Schwetty pushes him off. Ironheart lands the left hand. Pete Schwetty is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ironheart works the jab nicely. Schwetty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Schwetty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Schwetty fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ironheart is out of range. Ironheart misses with a takedown attempt - Schwetty sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ironheart thows a body shot but no joy. Pete Schwetty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jim Ironheart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ironheart feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Schwettys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ironheart misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ironheart avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ironheart cracks Schwetty with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ironheart punishes Schwetty's body with a nice straight punch. Ironheart lands an elbow that stopped Schwetty in his tracks for a moment. Schwetty is trying to force a seperation but Ironheart has the dominant position. A short body shot lands from Ironheart as the two fighters clinch.
Ironheart has Schwetty pressed against the cage, preventing Schwetty from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Nice body punch from Ironheart - that landed with a thud.
Ironheart dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Ironheart lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Ironheart blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short uppercut from Ironheart. Schwetty is trying to break free. A bit of stalling here from Ironheart.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwetty throws a head punch that misses. Schwetty is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Ironheart.
Ironheart is working Schwetty over against the cage. Ironheart stalls. Ironheart landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Ironheart lands an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ironheart working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ironheart lands a right hand. Schwetty letting Ironheart take a breather here. Ironheart lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schwetty gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ironheart.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Ironheart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ironheart taking a breather.
And that's the end of the fight! Jim Ironheart showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ironheart, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
