Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jk o (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jk o is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
o is looking to clinch.
Gannon looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A head kick from o lands but Gannon takes it in his stride.

Gannon is pressed up against the cage. o has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gannon down to the mat. Gannon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gannon prevents o from getting back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gannon misses with a leg kick
and o moves into the clinch.
o jumps into guard, dragging Gannon to the mat.
Gannon won't allow o to sweep him here.
o is trying to control the position from the bottom.
o looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
o escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gannon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gannon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gannon shoots in and drives through. o sprawls well.
o tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gannon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
