Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krazy Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Horse's choice of entrance music: Otis. Krazy Horse told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Horse. That snapped Franklin's head back.
Horse clinches up against the cage.
Horse has a couple of punches blocked by Franklin.
Franklin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Horse regains guard immediately.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Horse decides to stand back up. Horse steps back and let's Franklin get back to his feet.
Franklin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horse moves away.

Horse swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Franklin.
Horse lands a head kick. Franklin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Horse leaves Franklin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horse tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Franklin paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Franklin throws a hook but Horse avoids it easily.

Horse is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Franklin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Franklin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Horse tries to avoid it but Franklin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Horse to the ground. Horse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circling - Franklin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Franklin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Horse swivels and escapes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Franklin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Franklin showed some decent athleticism there.
Franklin is pressing down on Horse's thigh, looking to free his foot. Horse is holding on for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Franklin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Horse throws a front kick that sends Franklin stumbling back into the cage.

Krazy Horse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Franklin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Horse.
Horse tries a head kick but it misses.
Horse throws a leg kick but Franklin checks it.
Horse throws a body punch but Franklin moves out of range.

Franklin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Horse.

Franklin takes a swing at Horse's ribcage but misses.
Horse fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Franklin is out of range.
Horse tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horse stalks Franklin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Franklin's face. Franklin staggers backwards, shaken.
Franklin misses with a looping left.
Krazy Horse seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Horse misses with a hook.
Nice defenses there by Franklin.
Krazy Horse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Franklin throws a sloppy head kick and Horse moves out of range easily.
Franklin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Franklin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Horse gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Franklin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Franklin is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Horse reverses the position - he's now on top in Franklin's guard.
Franklin has Horse pulled in close to control his posture.
Franklin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Franklin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Horse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Horse manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chuck Franklin will probably get the nod.

Franklin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Horse because Franklin loaded up on that one.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Franklin postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Horse is out cold - huge knockout for Franklin!
