0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St Pierre ! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Bradley, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bradley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? St Pierre is fending him off so far but Bradley persists. Nope, St Pierre circles away and we're back to standing. Bradley closes this distance looking for a takedown but St Pierre circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Bradley. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre lands a nice shot to the body.

St Pierre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bradley circles away quickly and effectively. St Pierre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bradley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bradley tries for a takedown but St Pierre circles away easily and Bradley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bradley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has St Pierre pinned against the cage. St Pierre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bradley closes the distance and clinches up with St Pierre , looking for a takedown. Bradley pushes St Pierre against the cage but St Pierre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. St Pierre cracks Bradley with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. St Pierre displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bradley. St Pierre throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bradley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. St Pierre misses with a double jab.
Bradley is looking to clinch. St Pierre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bradley has his takedown stuffed and St Pierre connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bradley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. St Pierre sprawls well initially but Bradley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bradley is thwarting St Pierre 's attempts to control the position. St Pierre wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. St Pierre tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Bradley controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bill Bradley. St Pierre scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. St Pierre thows a left - swing and a miss! St Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bradley manages to avoid it. St Pierre swats away the attempt to clinch by Bradley. St Pierre throws a sloppy head kick and Bradley moves out of range easily. St Pierre looks gassed! Bradley closes the distance and pushes St Pierre back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is defending well against a takedown attempt. St Pierre with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bradley goes for a takedown attempt but St Pierre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
St Pierre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bradley is trying hard to land a takedown here. St Pierre sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. St Pierre throws a head kick but Bradley moves out of range.

Bradley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bradley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bradley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bradley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! St Pierre misses with a head kick.
Bradley fails to land the takedown. Bradley moves out of range of the strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bradley misses with a takedown attempt - St Pierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bradley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bill Bradley will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bradley fails with the takedown. Bradley walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Bradley with a lazy takedown attempt and St Pierre counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bradley is lucky that one didn't land flush. St Pierre throws a looping overhand right but Bradley ducks down to avoid it. Bradley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. St Pierre is letting Bradley control him for a moment. St Pierre wants to get back to his feet. A lull in the action here as Bradley stalls from top position. St Pierre taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre is trying to get back to half guard. St Pierre is breathing heavily. Bradley takes a little break here. St Pierre wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
We're going to have a standup here because Bill Bradley wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. St Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bradley manages to avoid it.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Bradley. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Bradley. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre stuffs the takedown attempt from Bradley. Bradley gets slowly back to his feet. Bradley shoots in and bounces St Pierre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. St Pierre is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bradley is controlling him. Bradley stays in close to St Pierre 's body and controls the position. Bradley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bradley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down St Pierre for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bill Bradley wasn't doing enough on the ground. St Pierre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. St Pierre misses with a jab, cross combination.

Come on St Pierre , up you get! St Pierre gets caught flat footed, as Bradley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bradley stays in close to St Pierre 's body and controls the position. St Pierre wants to get back to his feet but Bradley is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Bradley dominated that second round. That's time! Bradley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Bradley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bradley in particular looking to stall. St Pierre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bradley pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradley performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Bill Bradley wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sloppy strikes from St Pierre . Those never looked like landing. George St Pierre seems to be getting the better of the standup. St Pierre takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bradley looks for a takedown but St Pierre sprawls well.

St Pierre is fending him off so far but Bradley persists. Nope, St Pierre circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Bradley. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. St Pierre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bradley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has St Pierre pinned against the cage. St Pierre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. St Pierre keeps the fight on the outside. St Pierre takes a swing at Bradley's ribcage but misses. Bradley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bradley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. St Pierre tries to avoid it but Bradley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag St Pierre to the ground. St Pierre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradley shoots in but no luck this time. Bradley takes a jab right on the kisser.
St Pierre lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bill Bradley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from St Pierre . St Pierre fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. St Pierre throws a leg kick but Bradley moved away. Bradley tries to close the distance and clinch up but St Pierre swats him away and circles back towards the center. St Pierre lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. This has been an exciting period of action! St Pierre lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bradley backs up against the cage.
Bradley darts in and clinches St Pierre up against the cage. Bradley is trying to work for a single leg takedown but St Pierre pulls him back up using the underhooks. St Pierre manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bradley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bradley looking to control and managing it successfully. St Pierre keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bradley content just to control the position here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. St Pierre tries to hold on but Bradley postures up. Bradley controlling from mount. George St Pierre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bill Bradley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Bill Bradley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bradley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
