Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Houser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Betoli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Houser comes to the cage accompanied by Hackensaw Boys-Keep it simple. Betoli has chosen Mario theme as his entrance music. Mario Betoli has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Betoli ducks under a wild hook from Houser.
Houser shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Houser was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Betoli tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Houser can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Betoli is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Houser bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Betoli's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Betoli is on top in guard.
Houser looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Betoli wants to control from the top but Houser keeps moving.

Betoli slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Houser breaks from Betoli's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Houser cracks Betoli with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Betoli might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Houser kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Betoli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyler Houser will probably get the nod.

Betoli has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Houser is working away from the top position though.
