Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zackery Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zackery Woods! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Uppercut! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uppercut cracks a nice hook into Woods's ribs. Uppercut tries a head kick but it misses.
Uppercut misses with a straight left. No joy there for Uppercut, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Uppercut. Woods is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Woods's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Woods manages to work his way to half guard, despite Uppercut's best efforts. Uppercut is controlling the pace.
Woods has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Uppercut is working away from the top position though. Woods trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Uppercut manages to pass to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods tries to hold on but Uppercut pushes him away. Uppercut tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Woods can't escape the position.
Woods manages to regain half guard. Good work. Woods wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Uppercut content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Uppercut connects with a nice short shot to Woods's temple. Uppercut wants to pass to mount but Woods is defending the position. Woods tries to roll over but Uppercut keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Woods shoots and misses and Uppercut counters with a one-two to the body. Woods is breathing heavily. Uppercut bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Woods is rocked! Uppercut tries to bum rush Woods with a series of wild strikes but Woods uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Oh Woods is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Uppercut swinging wilding here.
Woods seems to have got his legs back now. Uppercut uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uppercut throws a body punch but Woods moves out of range. Uppercut Rushes Woods and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Woods is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Uppercut Piles on the pressure and Woods crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Uppercut!
