Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooklyn Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bitch Suck Dick by Tyler The Creator Featuring Jasper and Taco kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brooklyn Sharp told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Renzo Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brooklyn Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a jab but it's blocked by Sharp.
Sharp tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice straight punches there by Sharp. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sharp.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rua.
Sharp scores with a one two! Rua had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sharp feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rua thows a body shot but no joy.
Rua shoots in and drives through. Sharp sprawls well.
Sharp scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sharp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sharp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sharp throws a head kick that misses.
Sharp scores with a jab to the jaw.
Sharp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rua will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sharp throws a head kick but Rua moves out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sharp.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renzo Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Sharp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sharp scores with a head kick. Rua tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Sharp connects with a body shot that sends Rua's belly button to the back.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Sharp connects with a crisp jab.
Rua is rocked!
Rua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sharp lands a big head kick that sends Rua to the canvas! Sharp follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brooklyn Sharp!
Brooklyn Sharp was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
