The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Machida, right into the meat.
Do slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Machida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Machida throws a leg kick but Do checks it.
Machida throws a half hearted mid kick.
Do looks for a takedown but Machida sprawls well.
Do swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Machida moves away from the strike by Do.
Meogeedo Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Machida tries to score with a low kick but Do moves his leg out of the way.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Do throws a lazy right hand but Machida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Do lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Machida circles away quickly and effectively.

and Do counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Do shoots for a double leg takedown but Machida sprawls well. He's pushed Do's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Machida takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Do looks to score with a jab to the body but Machida is just out of range.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Do will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Do rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machida moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Machida staying out of range there.
Do avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Machida tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Do manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Machida will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Do tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Machida swivels and escapes.

Machida goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Machida attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Machida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Machida counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Do swats away the attempt to clinch by Machida.
Machida tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Do counters with a left to the body.
Do blocks a low kick nicely.
Machida does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Meogeedo Machida comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Machida has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
