Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maned Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobbie Blowtonne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blowtonne shoots in and bounces Khalidov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Khalidov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Blowtonne throws a strike but Khalidov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Blowtonne wants to get up but he can't break Khalidov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Khalidov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Khalidov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blowtonne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Blowtonne is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Khalidov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Khalidov leaves Blowtonne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Blowtonne counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Khalidov's guard now.
Blowtonne tries to stand but Khalidov is controlling from the bottom.

Blowtonne content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Khalidov has locked up a guillotine! Khalidov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Blowtonne is holding on here and Khalidov must be using up a lot of energy. Blowtonne has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Khalidov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
