Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximillion Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac comes to the cage accompanied by Dump the Clip. Butler comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Comeback Kid kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Mac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maximillion Butler!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler drives through and clinches with Mac against the cage.
Mac tries to circle away but Butler has him pinned against the cage.
Butler tries to land knees in the clinch but Mac avoids the damage to the body.

Butler tries to land a knee to the head but Mac blocks with his arms.
Butler misses with the head strike.
Butler creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Mac escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Butler thuds a left hand into Mac's body.
Butler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mac tries to avoid it but Butler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mac to the ground. Mac escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mac rushes Butler and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mac tries to clinch up but Butler circles away and keeps his distance.
Mac lands a really nice looking cross but Butler seems unphased.
Butler throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mac counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Butler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mac lands with a good body shot.
Butler throws a series of punches but Mac avoids them all with ease.
Butler swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mac counters with a two punch combo.
Butler misses with a wild combination.
Mac tries to clinch but Butler moves out of range.
Butler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mac really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Butler.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Butler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mac finds it's way round the side to connect with Butler's head.
Maximillion Butler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butler forces Mac back against the cage and clinches.
Butler is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mac is defending well for now.
Butler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mac.
Mac avoids a wild elbow strike from Butler.
Butler misses with an elbow over the top.
Mac lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mac.
Mac throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Butlers head.
Butler misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mac lands with a short shot to the head.
Mac avoids a wild elbow strike from Butler.
Mac is pressed up against the cage. Butler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mac down to the mat. Mac avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Frank Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximillion Butler.

Butler throws a series of punches but Mac avoids them all with ease.
Butler drops his hands momentarily and Mac takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Butler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice shot lands for Mac.
Mac is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Butler has taken the fight to the clinch.

and Mac counters with a stiff right hand.

Butler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mac moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mac looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mac moves in looking to clinch but Butler pushes him off.
Butler drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mac listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mac forces Butler back against the cage and clinches.
Mac breaks the clinch.
Butler rushes Mac and presses him up against the cage.
Mac lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Butler backwards.
Mac breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Butler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mac but Mac pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mac scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Butler is rocked!

Mac is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Mac grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Butler takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Mac cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
