Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans Cosmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosmo comes to the cage accompanied by Voyager by Daft Punk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hans Cosmo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andre Santos! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cosmo throws a head kick but Santos moves out of range.
Santos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cosmo can pounce on him.
Santos jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cosmo throws a leg kick but Santos sees it coming and moves out of range. That kick from Cosmo tenderised Santos's leg. Santos is trying to keep his angry face on. Nice body kick there by Cosmo. Santos swings widly with a right hand
and Cosmo counters with a thumping low kick. Santos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cosmo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Santos throws a jab but it's blocked by Cosmo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cosmo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A low kick from Santos misses and Cosmo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Santos's knee momentarily. A looping hook to the body misses from Santos. Cosmo does a little dance to reset his feet. Cosmo throws a nice inside leg kick. Santos jabbing away but nothing is landing. Santos misses with a body punch
and Cosmo counters with a good low kick that Santos was not able to check. Cosmo connects with a solid leg kick. Cosmo misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cosmo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Santos moves out of range as Cosmo strikes. Santos throws a shot from downtown. Cosmo moves away and avoids it. Cosmo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Cosmo throws a leg kick but Santos moved away. Santos misses with a takedown and Cosmo counters with a slapping leg kick. Santos shoots in for a takedown but Cosmo shows good takedown defense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Santos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Santos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hans Cosmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Santos. Cosmo misses with a low kick. Cosmo slips under a jab. Cosmo throws a head kick that Santos semi-blocks.
Santos moves out of range of the body kick. Cosmo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cosmo looks to throw the jab but Santos is out of range. A leg kick checked by Santos. Cosmo ducks under a wild hook from Santos. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Cosmo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Santos missing with a left hand there. Cosmo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cosmo checks a low kick from Santos. Santos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cosmo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hans Cosmo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Santos avoids a punch combination nicely.
A swing and a miss from Santos. Cosmo connects with a leg kick. Santos looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Santos dives in and grabs Cosmo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cosmo pushes down on Santos's head and hops out. Santos misses with a looping left. Cosmo misses with an uppercut. Cosmo throws an overhand right that lands on Santos's shoulder, as Santos tries to avoid the shot. Cosmo misses with a body kick. Hans Cosmo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Cosmo. Santos throws a body punch but Cosmo moves out of range. Nice straight punches there by Cosmo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cosmo. No luck with that takedown attempt from Santos. Santos shoots in and gets a takedown into Cosmo's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Santos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Santos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Santos looking to sit in guard and control but Cosmo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Santos uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cosmo manages to avoid it. Cosmo throws a head kick that misses. Cosmo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Santos takes a step back to recover. Santos fails with a takedown attempt. Hans Cosmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Santos. Santos takes one to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos shoots in but Cosmo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cosmo misses with a straight left. Santos misses with an uppercut. Cosmo saw that one coming. A bone on bone clash there as Santos blocks the leg kick.
Cosmo scoring well with a low kick there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Andre Santos will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
A combination from Santos does no damage. Santos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cosmo did well to prevent Santos getting side control. Santos is trying to control the action in half guard but Cosmo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Santos throwing shots but Cosmo is blocking nicely. Cosmo is refusing to be controlled, as Santos sits in half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Santos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cosmo's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santos seems to be working for a kimura but Cosmo defends the submission attempt. Cosmo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Santos performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Santos tries to pass to full mount but Cosmo defends it. Cosmo is staying active underneath Santos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Santos missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Santos is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Santos throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Cosmo wants to control but Santos is keeping busy.
Cosmo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cosmo tries to get out of the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos works his way into side control. Santos fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Santos swings around for an armbar but Cosmo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Santos's guard. Santos wants to sweep here but Cosmo controlling him for the moment. Santos looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andre Santos. Cosmo slips a straight right by Santos.
And that's the end of the fight! Andre Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Santos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Andre Santos wins by unanimous decision! A determined Andre Santos didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
