The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Law is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Rua has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Law can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rua escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Law gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Law slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Law has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rua is proving hard to escape from.

That was a close round but I would say that Aaron Law will probably get the nod.

Law's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Law leaves Rua with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Law sends Rua crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Law is motioning to the referee to let Rua up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Thiago Rua has been cut.
Aaron Law is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Law knocks Rua out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
