Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Pye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Tandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tandy has chosen Hysteria - Muse as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Pye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Tandy! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pye has closed the distance and engaged Tandy in a clinch.
Pye pulls guard effortlessly. Tandy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pye keeping full guard, as Tandy tries to pass. Pye is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tandy wants to control from the top but Pye keeps moving. Pye will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tandy passes easily into side control. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tandy sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pye is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Pye wants to control but Tandy postures up. Tandy stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tandy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tandy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tandy throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pye wants to try and get back to his feet. Tandy working Pye over with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tandy looking to finish with strikes here!

Lucky escape for Pye because Tandy loaded up on that one. Tandy lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pye hang on? Tandy thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tandy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pye can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Pye is squirming around, avoiding Tandy's attempts to control the action. Pye is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tandy trying to control but he's not successful this time. Tandy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pye can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pye is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Tandy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pye to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pye shrugs it off. Pye manages to control the position for a moment. Pye is breathing heavily. Tandy throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Tandy wants to control the pace but Pye is squirming around nicely. Pye is looking to improve his position but Tandy isn't that keen on the idea. Pye is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Pye that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tandy is working for a guillotine from mount but Pye frees his head quite easily.
Pye tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pye tries to hold on but Tandy postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pye tries to lock up and control but Tandy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Tandy dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pye shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tandy as he jumps to the side. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pye crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tandy - the referee stops the clock and Pye gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tandy. Pye manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Tandy tries a head kick but it misses.
Tandy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pye dives in and grabs Tandy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tandy pushes down on Pye's head and hops out. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pye. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Pye. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tandy looks for the body kick but Pye saw that one coming. Pye leaves Tandy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tandy throws a nice head kick!
Tandy lands a head kick. Pye smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pye avoids a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pye throws a combination. Tandy tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tandy throws a hook but Pye avoids it easily. No luck for Tandy with that takedown attempt. Pye rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tandy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tandy takes a kick to the side of the head. Tandy throws a sloppy head kick and Pye moves out of range easily. Pye shoots in but Tandy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tandy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tandy takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pye avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tandy shoots in and drives through. Pye sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pye throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tandy. Tandy rushes Pye and presses him up against the cage. Tandy is trying to break the clinch but Pye has him pressed against the cage. Pye breaks from the clinch.
Pye shoots for a double leg takedown but Tandy sprawls well. He's pushed Pye's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tandy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tandy is working for a kimura here but Pye manages to reverse the position and he's now in Tandy's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pye passes into half guard. Pye prevents Tandy from improving his position. Tandy wants to control but Pye is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pye in particular looking to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pye displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tandy. Pye has taken the fight to the clinch.

Tandy takes an elbow to the forehead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pye is trying to drag Tandy to the mat but Tandy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Pye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rob Tandy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Pye darts in and clinches Tandy up against the cage. Pye will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tandy up against the cage. Pye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tandy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Tandy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Tandy taking a breather. A shot in the inside from Pye. Pye keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tandy's efforts to push away. Pye blocks an elbow strike. Pye lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tandy can't break the clinch.

Tandy with a flurry of punches that miss. Pye wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Tandy throws an elbow that misses. Pye uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tandy's guard. Nice move by Pye! Tandy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Pye content to stall in guard here. Pye is looking to advance position but Tandy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tandy throws some wild stikes that Pye manages to avoid easily.

Pye sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Pye looking for submissions off his back. Tandy prevents Pye from standing back up.
Tandy is looking for a kimura here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pye is looking for a sweep. Tandy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tandy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rob Tandy has got the better of the ground game so far. Tandy wants to stand but Pye has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Tandy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pye is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tandy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tandy's back! Pye working for a choke but Tandy is defending well. Tandy rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Rob Tandy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Tandy is looking to control Pye's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tandy avoid being mounted? Simon Pye has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tandy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pye.
And that's the end of the fight! Simon Pye showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tandy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
