Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Sherpard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Stroker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherpard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Locust. Bob Stroker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Sherpard! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Stroker! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Stroker lands but Sherpard takes it in his stride. Stroker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sherpard. Stroker throws a nice looking combination but Sherpard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stroker darts in and clinches Sherpard up against the cage. Sherpard fails to pull guard.
Stroker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stroker misses with a two punch combination.
Stroker forces Sherpard back against the cage and clinches. Sherpard has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Stroker regains guard immediately. Stroker has his feet on Sherpard's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Sherpard tries to clinch but Stroker moves away and Stroker moves into the clinch. Stroker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A good leg kick by Stroker. Stroker throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Stroker tries to bum rush Sherpard with a series of wild strikes but Sherpard uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stroker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sherpard tries to clinch but fails miserably and Stroker counters with a body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sherpard shoots and misses and Stroker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sherpard takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. and Sherpard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
