The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rood shoots in looking for a takedown but Braddock manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rood's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Braddock darts in and clinches Rood up against the cage.
Rood goes for a takedown attempt but Braddock pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rood scores with a hook to the body. Braddock takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Braddock tries to avoid it but Rood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Braddock to the ground. Braddock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
