Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiger King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiger King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard.

Rogers throwing strikes from guard but King blocks nicely.
Rogers makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rogers throws a big right hand that misses.
Rogers stands up over King, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rogers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as King works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
King is looking to stand up but Rogers isn't so interested in that idea.

King scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from King.

King stuffs the takedown.
King connects with a leg kick. Rogers looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
King tries to bum rush Rogers with a series of wild strikes but Rogers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rogers takes a kick to the side of the head.
King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
King lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by King.


It looks like Anthony Rogers has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rogers takes a kick to the side of the head.

Rogers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogers showed some decent athleticism there.
Rogers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rogers is looking to advance position but King won't allow it.
Rogers looks to land a strike but King avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rogers throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rogers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rogers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
King wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King cracks Rogers with a solid left hand.
King throws an elbow that misses. Rogers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in King's guard. Nice move by Rogers!
King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rogers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
King keeping moving, preventing Rogers from controlling successfully.
Rogers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rogers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rogers is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control.

Rogers throws an elbow that misses. King uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rogers's guard. Nice move by King!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Rogers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rogers trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Rogers throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tiger King will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Anthony Rogers's cut.
That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rogers throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

King won't allow Rogers to sweep him here.

Rogers is working an open guard so King takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Rogers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rogers is defended easily by King.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from King. Rogers shrugs it off though.
King is looking to clinch.
King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A cross from King lands.
Rogers on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rogers is breathing heavily.
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King jabs Rogers to the body, keeping him at a distance.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Rogers moves out of range easily.
King cracks Rogers with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tiger King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the liver by King. Beautiful body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
King jabs Rogers right on the nose. Rogers blinks but takes it well.
Donk. King catches Rogers right on the button with a cross.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rogers gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tiger King!
