Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Hansig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannu Aalto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannu Aalto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Don Hansig's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Hansig, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hansig looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Aalto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hansig takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Hansig counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Hansig jumps guard but Aalto turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hansig manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Aalto is looking to slow Hansig down with leg kicks.
Aalto lands with an uppercut that bounces Hansig off the cage and back into range.

Hansig closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hansig escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aalto thumps Hansig with a low kick.
Hansig shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Aalto as he jumps to the side.

Hansig ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hansig no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Aalto is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Aalto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hansig has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aalto has managed to get both his arms back between Hansig's legs - danger averted.

Aalto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hansig can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hansig feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Hannu Aalto.
