Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolo Taz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Leo Vieira has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taz blocks a head kick by Vieira.
Vieira really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vieira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taz tries to avoid it but Vieira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taz to the ground. Taz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Taz fails with a takedown attempt. Vieira finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Taz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Vieira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Taz but Taz pushes him off and we're back to square one. A chopping leg kick lands by Vieira. Vieira gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Taz stays in close to Vieira's body and controls the position. Vieira keeping moving, preventing Taz from controlling successfully. Taz advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Taz just content to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vieira is looking for a sweep. Taz tries for a kimura but Vieira is defending well. Taz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vieira knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Vieira manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vieira regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Taz. Taz prevents Vieira from getting back to his feet. Taz stays in close to Vieira's body and controls the position. Taz won't allow Vieira to get back to his feet. Taz passes Vieira's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Vieira makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Vieira throws a head kick but Taz moves out of range.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vieira swings away with a leg kick that misses. Taz throws a sloppy head kick and Vieira counters with a slapping leg kick. Vieira moves in looking to clinch but Taz pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Vieira looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vieira tries to clinch there but Taz circles away.
That kick from Vieira tenderised Taz's leg. Taz is trying to keep his angry face on. Leo Vieira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vieira swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Taz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Vieira can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Taz controls the pace. Vieira trying to keep a closed guard but Taz is proving a slippery customer.
Taz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vieira swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vieira's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Taz pushing down on Vieira's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Taz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Taz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vieira with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Taz controlling the action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Taz prevents Vieira from standing back up.
Taz is figuring out what he wants to do next. Taz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Vieira defending well though. Taz with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Taz decides to return to a standing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vieira pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Taz dives in and grabs Vieira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vieira pushes down on Taz's head and hops out. Vieira feints and then cracks Taz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Taz down. Vieira tries to clinch up. Vieira is looking to clinch. Vieira tries to score with a low kick but Taz moves his leg out of the way. Vieira tries to clinch up but Taz circles away and keeps his distance. Vieira buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Taz tries for a takedown but Vieira sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Taz tries to keep at a distance but Vieira has taken the fight into the clinch. Vieira is looking to break free of the clinch but Taz has double underhooks. Vieira can't get the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vieira wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vieira is trying to force a seperation but Taz has the dominant position. Taz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Leo Vieira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bolo Taz. Vieira can't break the clinch.
Vieira wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Taz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leo Vieira is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vieira throws a front kick aimed at Taz's knee but Taz avoids it well. Vieira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Taz tries to bum rush Vieira with a series of wild strikes but Vieira uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Taz moves out of range of the body kick. Vieira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Taz circles away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Taz looks to land a combination but Vieira avoids it well. Vieira closes the distance but Taz moves to the side and Taz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taz wants to work for an arm triangle but Vieira is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Taz throwing shots but Vieira is blocking nicely. Taz performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Taz decides to stand and escape the position. Taz tries to clinch but Vieira moves out of range. Vieira throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taz keeps the fight on the outside. Vieira just misses with a punch to the body.
Taz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Vieira takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Taz moves into the clinch. Taz gets control of Vieira's arms and successfully pulls guard. Taz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Vieira trying to control the position from guard on top but Taz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vieira throwing strikes from guard but Taz blocks nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bolo Taz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Vieira shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Taz. Vieira fails with a takedown attempt. Vieira fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Vieira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vieira closes the distance but Taz moves to the side and Taz counters with a shoot takedown. Vieira fights it but they end up in guard. Taz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Taz controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vieira tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Taz is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vieira can't keep his opponent in guard - Taz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Taz works his way into full mount! Taz scoring with strikes but Vieira is staying in there. Vieira is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Taz lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Vieira hang on?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vieira is trying to reverse the position but instead Taz has taken his back - oops! Taz is not going to allow Vieira to sit and survive in this position. Taz controls the position. Vieira looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taz has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Vieira's body.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bolo Taz was stalling too much, according to the referee. Vieira leaves Taz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Taz or perhaps it was just good defense by Vieira which made him look bad. Vieira closes the distance but Taz moves to the side and Taz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vieira!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Taz with good strikes from the mount here! Vieira tries to hold on but Taz postures up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Leo Vieira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Taz controlling from the full mount. Bolo Taz is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vieira tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Bolo Taz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Taz winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
