The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thryra moves away from the strike by Kunnas.
Kunnas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thryra was well out of range. Poor timing from Kunnas.
Thryra slips a jab from Kunnas.
Kunnas misses with a wild body shot.
Karl Kunnas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kunnas paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Thryra is rocked!
Thryra is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kunnas throws a hook but Thryra blocks it.
Kunnas looks to throw the jab but Thryra is out of range.
Kunnas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thryra.
Thryra slips under a jab from Kunnas.
Kunnas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Thryra makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kunnas rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thryra counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Thryra lands a glancing blow to the side of Kunnas's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thryra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thryra throws an off balance right hand
and Kunnas counters with a crisp right that sends Thryra to the canvas! Kunnas follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
