Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dance comes to the cage accompanied by Broken Beating Scarred - Metallica. Custer has chosen History´s Stranglers by The Bronx as his entrance music. Bill Dance has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Dance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Custer!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Custer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dance misses with a takedown attempt - Custer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Custer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Dance bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Custer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dance working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Custer has passed into half guard!
Custer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dance does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dance wants to sweep here but Custer controlling him for the moment.

Dance escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Custer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jesse Custer wasn't active enough on the ground.
Dance doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Custer counter with a right hand.

Custer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Custer counters with a low kick, right behind Dance 's knee.
Dance has a takedown stuffed.

Dance takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Custer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Custer wants it to stay on the feet.

and Custer counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Dance fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Custer counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Custer works Dance's body with a nice hook.
Custer listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Custer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dance stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Custer.
Custer jabs at Dance's body.
Custer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A solid leg kick lands there for Custer.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Custer.
Custer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Custer takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Custer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dance tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Custer dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Custer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dance gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Custer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dance's head backwards.
Custer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Dance shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Custer sprawls well. Custer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dance gets slowly back to his feet.
Dance shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Custer as he jumps to the side.
Dance dives in and grabs Custer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Custer pushes down on Dance's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Dance. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dance takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Some wild striking there from Custer.
Dance shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Custer counters with a one-two to the body.


Dance is rocked!
Good leg kick by Custer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oh Dance is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dance is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters circling - Custer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Custer catches Dance with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Dance forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
