Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Mission (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sub Mission! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mission swats away the attempt to clinch by Cooper. Cooper is looking to clinch. Cooper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mission feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cooper trying to keep a closed guard but Mission is proving a slippery customer.
Cooper is looking for a triangle but Mission pushes his legs off easily.
Mission content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Mission preventing the sweep. Cooper striking off his back. Cooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mission seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cooper trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mission escapes and throws Cooper's legs to the side, diving into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper looks to move to half guard but instead Mission has passed into mount! Damn! Mission manages to capitalize on a mistake by Cooper to take his back! Mission is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cooper is really stuck here.
Mission has good solid back control here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sub Mission dominated that round. That's time! Cooper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cooper has his takedown stuffed and Mission counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cooper's guard now. Mission passes Cooper's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mission prevents Cooper from improving his position. Cooper wants to get back to full guard but Mission has mounted him! Cooper tries to improve his position but instead Mission has taken his back! Mission controlling the position well here. Cooper rolled but Mission kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mission controlling well, preventing Cooper from escaping the position.
Mission keeps control of the position easily here as Cooper tries to buck him off.
I really don't envy Cooper right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mission controls the position. Mission is breathing heavily. Cooper is trying to break free.
Cooper is working hard here to advance position. Cooper staying busy and making it hard for Mission to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mission controlling well, preventing Cooper from escaping the position.
Cooper controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mission just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Cooper is in bad spot here.
Cooper wants to control his opponent's hands but Mission gets his hands free. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mission trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sub Mission showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Cooper misses with a takedown attempt and Mission counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mission is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Cooper looking for submissions off his back. Mission stalling. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper wants to control but Mission is keeping busy.
Cooper is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mission jumps into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cooper tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Cooper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mission misses with a takedown and Cooper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mission won't be happy with that. Cooper is trying to ground and pound but Mission uses the momentary lack of control by Cooper to regain half guard. Cooper is trying to control the action in half guard but Mission is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. William Cooper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cooper thows a huge punch but Mission dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is nestled in close to Mission, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Cooper missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cooper working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cooper is looking to take a break and control but Mission is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cooper trying to control from Mission's half guard. Mission has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to William Cooper. Well Mission has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
