These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fighter Two misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Desbatailles . Fighter Two does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fighter Two moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Desbatailles moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Fighter Two as he connects with a hook.

Desbatailles fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fighter Two.

Good leg kick by Desbatailles there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fighter Two's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Desbatailles connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fighter Two scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fighter Two takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Desbatailles creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Desbatailles is looking to control Fighter Two's arms but Fighter Two gets an underhook and turns him. Now Desbatailles has his back to the ropes.
Desbatailles manages to break the clinch.
Fighter Two chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Desbatailles can pounce on him.
Desbatailles lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Desbatailles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Fighter Two paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fighter Two could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Desbatailles buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Desbatailles lands the left hand.
Fighter Two is rocked!
Fighter Two walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Desbatailles swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
