Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Claymore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greg Reid could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Desmond Claymore's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Desmond Claymore!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Reid enables Claymore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reid manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Claymore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Reid bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Claymore's guard.

Claymore drops back looking for a leg! Reid is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reid manages to kick Claymore off! Claymore jumps back into Reid's guard.

Reid has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Claymore has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close second round but I would say that Greg Reid will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Claymore bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Claymore throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reid was covering up waiting for the punch and Claymore finishes the takedown easily into guard.
