Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pontus Templar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohammed comes into a darkened arena with his song building. M.I.A - Paper Planes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Abdul Mohammed is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pontus Templar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul Mohammed! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Templar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mohammed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Templar somewhat. Mohammed drives through with a takedown into guard. Mohammed postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mohammed stays in close to Templar's body and controls the position. Templar wants to sweep here but Mohammed controlling him for the moment. Mohammed controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mohammed preventing the sweep. Mohammed's corner is telling him to maintain position. Templar wants to get back to his feet but Mohammed is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Abdul Mohammed wasn't active enough on the ground. Templar has his takedown stuffed and Mohammed counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Templar! This has been an exciting period of action! Mohammed controlling the position easily from mount. Templar tries to hold on but Mohammed postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mohammed sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Templar tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mohammed scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Templar?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mohammed connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Mohammed controlling the position easily from mount. Templar tries to hold on but Mohammed postures up. Mohammed takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Let's hope that Mohammed has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Mohammed breaks from Templar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Mohammed tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Mohammed putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Templar sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Templar wants to get back to full guard. Mohammed content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Mohammed prevents Templar from standing back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Still in half guard, Mohammed seems content to control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. It looks like Mohammed might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Abdul Mohammed wasn't active enough on the ground. Mohammed shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Templar napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mohammed staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mohammed working the ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mohammed lands an elbow. Templar trying to remain calm as Mohammed controls from the top position. Mohammed creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Templar is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Mohammed working the head with strikes. Templar takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Mohammed lands some shots froms side control. Mohammed scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Templar to see if he's OK. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Templar is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mohammed is controlling him well. Templar tries to improve position but can't. Mohammed lands a nice forearm strike. Mohammed is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abdul Mohammed dominated that round. That's time! Templar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mohammed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mohammed stops Templar from standing up. Mohammed controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Abdul Mohammed. Mohammed is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Templar shoots in and drives through. Mohammed sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Templar with a poor takedown so Mohammed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mohammed is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mohammed is working Templar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Mohammed engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Templar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Templar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mohammed is in Templar's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mohammed throwing strikes but missing.

He pushes Mohammed off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Mohammed stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mohammed wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pontus Templar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mohammed closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Templar's guard. Mohammed slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mohammed postures up.
