The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highwind moves away from the strike by Jackson.
Nice shot lands for Jackson.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.

Highwind is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.
We're going to have a standup here because Laguna Highwind wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Highwind looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but Highwind persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing.
Highwind drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jackson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ray Ray Jackson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Highwind gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jackson connects with a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Highwind shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Highwind wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy.

Highwind wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Highwind thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head.

and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Highwind.
Ray Ray Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.
Highwind has a takedown stuffed.

Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Highwind.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Highwind looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson lands a head shot.
Jackson clobbers Highwind with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Laguna Highwind will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jackson throws out a loose jab but Highwind uses good head movement to avoid it.
Highwind tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.
Highwind shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Highwind's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Highwind takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Highwind slips under a jab from Jackson.

Highwind is rocked!
Jackson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Highwind! Jackson dives in looking to finish! Highwind is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Ray Jackson!
