The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasri has managed to clinch.
Nasri turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Thorn manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nasri's best efforts.
Thorn looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Thorn wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Thorn looking for submissions off his back.
Nasri seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Nasri wants to pass the guard but Thorn is defending well.

Thorn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nasri can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nasri wanted to stand there but Thorn had control of the position.
Nasri has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Thorn is trying to control the position but Nasri postures up.
Nasri slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
