The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menace steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McDermot.
Menace looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Menace throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Menace scores with a nice head shot.
McDermot uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Menace.
McDermot keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Menace thows a body shot but no joy.
The crowd cheers as Menace lands an impressive looking overhand right. McDermot doesn't seem phased though.

McDermot fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Menace has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Menace takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

McDermot scores with a decent looking hook.
McDermot lands with a straight right. Menace didn't see that one coming.
McDermot throws a leg kick but Menace moved away.
McDermot lands a big uppercut and Menace crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Menace looks OK. McDermot waves Menace back to his feet!
Menace is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDermot fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oh Menace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDermot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Menace manages to avoid it.
McDermot closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Menace out cold! Menace corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pat McDermot!
