Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Tourniquet . The crowd seem to be enjoying Palmer's choice of entrance music: Not Now James,we're busy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Palmer! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Palmer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Palmer postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it. Palmer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Palmer lands a couple of elbows. Lee keeping full guard, as Palmer tries to pass. Lee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Palmer controls the pace. Lee throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Palmer escapes and throws Lee's legs to the side, diving into side control! Palmer working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Lee tries to bench press Palmer off him but Palmer keeps the position. Palmer scoring with punches from side control. Palmer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Palmer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Palmer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working. Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Palmer's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Lee is looking to improve his position.
Palmer is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Palmer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Palmer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Palmer wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Palmer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Palmer works his way into side control. Lee is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Palmer trying to pass the guard but Lee defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Palmer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lee defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee wants to get back to full guard. Palmer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to improve his position.

Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Palmer pulls his head out easily. Lee looking for submissions off his back. Lee is looking to improve his position.
Palmer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lee.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Palmer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top! Lee keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Palmer's head. Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lee stopping the sweep attempt from Palmer. Palmer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Palmer keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Palmer is trying to keep Lee in close.
Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Palmer has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Palmer dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Palmer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely. Palmer shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Palmer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Palmer. Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Palmer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palmer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Palmer quickly recovers to half guard. Palmer regains full guard. Nicely done. Roy Palmer has got the better of the ground game so far. Palmer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well. Lee cracks Palmer with a solid left hand. Palmer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee scoring with punches to the head and body. Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Palmer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Palmer keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lee doesn't defend quickly enough and Palmer has managed to lock this one up! Can Lee escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Palmer on a fantastic submission victory.
