Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fonso Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sameul Lianza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lianza has chosen blaza of glory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lianza gets caught flat footed, as Gomez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gomez stands and throws Lianza's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gomez is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Gomez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gomez is working Lianza over with some ground and pound from side control.

Gomez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lianza, who protects the arm well.

Gomez shoots in looking for a takedown but Lianza manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gomez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gomez is defended easily by Lianza.
Gomez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lianza's guard.

Fonso Gomez has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Gomez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lianza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fonso Gomez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gomez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gomez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gomez shoots in and gets a takedown into Lianza's guard.
