Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carpet Chair! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jelek Anjing! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Chair misses its intended target. Anjing uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chair. Chair misses the shot to the body. Anjing lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Anjing slips a straight right by Chair. Chair walks into a straight right hand from Anjing. Nice cross by Chair. Chair lands a two punch combo.
Chair avoids a kick to the body.
Chair misses with the combination.
Chair throws a jab but it's blocked by Anjing. Chair on the wrong end of a nice jab. Anjing throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Anjing keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chair misses with a wild body shot. Chair tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anjing was well out of range. Poor timing from Chair. Chair misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chair looks to land a left hand but Anjing moved out of range nicely. Chair misses the shot to the body. A good leg kick by Anjing. Chair avoids the body shot from Anjing.
Anjing throws a looping overhand right but Chair ducks down to avoid it. Chair darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Anjing trying to control from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chair is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anjing is looking to improve his position.
Chair is keen to just control but Anjing is a slippery customer. Anjing wants to get back to full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chair frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chair has hold of Anjing's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Anjing manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chair tries to control but Anjing wriggling away. Anjing defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chair. Anjing is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Chair jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Anjing manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anjing is looking for a sweep. Chair has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Anjing is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Chair yanks on the arm and Anjing is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Chair.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Carpet Chair! Carpet Chair is the new lightweight champion! In his post fight interview, Carpet Chair started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
