PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jed Masilungan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hudson Levine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masilungan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dying Inside . Levine is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Parkway Drive - Carrion. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levine throws a leg kick but Masilungan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A head kick from Levine lands but Masilungan takes it in his stride.

Levine moves in looking to clinch but Masilungan pushes him off.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Levine lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masilungan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masilungan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Levine holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Masilungan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Masilungan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Levine has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Levine!

Masilungan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Levine defends it easily.

Masilungan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Levine gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Masilungan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Levine takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Masilungan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Levine to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Levine shrugs it off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
