Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ian Nolan! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Nolan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though. Lee is looking to control Nolan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Lee is refusing to be controlled, as Nolan sits in half guard. Lee regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Nolan. Nolan throws a big elbow that misses. Nolan's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nolan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nolan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nolan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nolan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nolan controls from within his opponent's guard. OK we're going to have a standup here. Ian Nolan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nolan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lee avoids it really well and circles away. Nolan dodges the punch combination from Lee.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nolan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lee misses with a looping right. A swing and a miss from Lee. Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Nolan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely. Brock Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Nolan. Nolan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nolan shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. Nolan drives through with a takedown into guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lee gets caught flat footed, as Nolan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nolan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee misses with an uppercut. Nolan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lee tries to buck Nolan off but Nolan is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nolan is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well. Ian Nolan has got the better of the ground game so far. Lee parries the strikes from Nolan easily there. Nolan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lee to escape.

Nolan working the head and body with strikes. Nolan in side control, throwing shots but Lee defends. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nolan controls the position. Lee prevents Nolan from moving into mount. Nolan cracks Lee with a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nolan taking a breather here. Nolan scoring with punches and elbows. Nolan misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Lee stops Nolan from passing to mount. Nolan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lee will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nolan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Nolan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Nolan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lee wants to stand and escape but Nolan is having none of it. Nolan wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Nolan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nolan throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Nolan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lee keeping moving, preventing Nolan from controlling successfully.

Nolan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top! Nolan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nolan tries to pass to full mount but Lee defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to kick Nolan off but Nolan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nolan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nolan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ian Nolan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nolan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
