Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Kozlov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josef Dellal!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kozlov tries to pull guard but Dellal holds him up against the cage and eventually Kozlov drops back down to his feet.
Kozlov fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Kozlov manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dellal thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dellal wants to pass the guard but Kozlov is keeping the position.
Kozlov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dellal is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Dellal is looking to work some ground and pound but Kozlov has wrist control.
Kozlov keeping moving, preventing Dellal from controlling successfully.
Dellal looking to pass the guard.

Kozlov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kozlov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dellal is looking to get to half guard.
Dellal tries to hold on but Kozlov postures up.

Kozlov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Dellal working to try and regain half guard.

Kozlov with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Dellal tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dellal is squirming around, avoiding Kozlov's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dellal wants to control but Kozlov is having none of it.
Dellal is trying to escape the mount.

Kozlov working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dellal looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kozlov! Submission of the night perhaps?
