Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Devlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Taki maly taki duzy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Damian Newman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman looks to land a left hand but Devlin moved out of range nicely.
Newman keeps the fight on the outside.
Newman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Devlin.
Devlin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Devlin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Newman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Devlin tries to clinch there but Newman circles away.
Jonathan Devlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Devlin wants to clinch up but Newman keeps it at a distance.
Devlin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Devlin wants to get back to his feet but Newman drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Newman in side control, just content to control the action for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Newman has hold of Devlin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Devlin seems comfortable defending it but Newman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Devlin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Devlin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Newman couldn't care less - he's delighted!
