Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Adler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Hay!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adler has a takedown stuffed.
Hay tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Adler counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Hay drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Adler gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Adler lands a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Hay is working an open guard so Adler takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
David Hay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hay swinging wildly here.
Adler avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hay misses with a series of wild punches.
Adler slaps away a takedown attempt from Hay, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hay throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hay closes the distance but Adler moves to the side

and Adler moves into the clinch.
Adler lands an elbow that stopped Hay in his tracks for a moment.

Adler lands a takedown into guard.
Adler missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hay wants to stand up but Adler is controlling him.

Adler stands and steps away. Hay gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hay looks gassed!
Hay throws a combination that misses

and Adler counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Adler dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Adler drags the fight down to the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hay wants to control from the top but Adler keeps moving.

Adler uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Adler gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Adler connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hay's face.


It looks like David Hay has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Adler creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Adler manages to pull guard.

Adler pushes Hay off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Adler will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Adler circles away quickly and effectively.
Hay stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Adler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hay closes this distance looking for a takedown but Adler circles away.

Adler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hay, pushing him back against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Adler unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hay lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Adler forces Hay back against the cage and clinches.
Adler lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hay is trying to pull guard but Adler turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Adler scores with a nice short uppercut.
Adler lands a nice elbow.


Hay is rocked!

Adler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hay is still on wobbly legs! Can Adler finish him?
Hay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Adler fails with a takedown attempt.
Hay seems to have recovered his senses.
Hay misses with a combination

and Adler counters by clinching up.
Hay is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adler using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Adler lands an elbow inside.
Adler lands a big knee to the head and Hay goes down! Adler pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Adler!
A very excited looking Andre Adler made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
