Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conchito El Guapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Guapo comes to the cage accompanied by Bebot. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson gets caught napping as El Guapo dives in and scores a takedown. Johnson manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
El Guapo throws a big right hand that misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
El Guapo lands a couple of elbows.

El Guapo wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.

Nate Johnson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by El Guapo.
El Guapo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson throws a body punch but El Guapo moves out of range.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but El Guapo pushes him off.
Johnson tries to clinch up but El Guapo circles away and keeps his distance.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

El Guapo wriggles free and stands up.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but El Guapo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

El Guapo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but El Guapo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
El Guapo is trying to control. Johnson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with El Guapo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, El Guapo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

El Guapo is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Johnson is in big trouble! El Guapo is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Johnson. Poor guy.
