Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Canadian Kid!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crunch! Case slams his shin into Canadian Kid's torso.
Canadian Kid looks to clinch
and Case counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Canadian Kid ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Canadian Kid throws a push kick but Case slaps the foot to one side.
Canadian Kid misses with a head kick.
Canadian Kid fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Case checks it well.
Canadian Kid works Case's body with a nice hook.
Case looks to score with a jab to the body but Canadian Kid is just out of range.
Canadian Kid blocks a head kick by Case.
Canadian Kid looks to land a body kick but Case moved away.
Canadian Kid misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Case.
A head kick misses from Case.
Canadian Kid darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Case misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Case shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Canadian Kid napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Canadian Kid is trying to get back to half guard.
Case tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Case misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
An elbow from Case crashes against the mat.
Case misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Case wants to control but Canadian Kid is keeping him busy.
Canadian Kid is trying to get back to half guard.
Case tries to score with some ground and pound. Canadian Kid controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Canadian Kid tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Case cracks Canadian Kid with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Case throws a strike aimed at the side of Canadian Kid's head but Canadian Kid avoids it well.
Canadian Kid throws a punch from the bottom, which has left him a bit exposed here… Case has an arm triangle now. This could be big trouble for Canadian Kid. He's out! He's out cold! The ref pulls Case off and Case celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Justin Case!
Justin Case retains his welterweight title!
A less than humble Justin Case misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
