These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D walks into a straight right hand from Liljedahl.

It looks like Man D has been cut.
D fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Liljedahl is out of range.
Liljedahl avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
D on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and D counters with a series of strikes. Liljedahl will be more careful next time no doubt.

D chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Liljedahl can pounce on him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Liljedahl fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops D to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! D looks to clinch but Liljedahl throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! D taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
