Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Rock N Roll All Night" By Kiss. Joshua Weiss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joshua Weiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Brawler! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weiss tests Brawler's chin there with a solid looking shot. Brawler wants to clinch up but Weiss keeps it at a distance. Brawler on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Ray Brawler has been cut. Weiss cracks Brawler with an open hand slap.
Brawler is rocked! Brawler tries to close the distance and clinch but Weiss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brawler is still on wobbly legs! Can Weiss finish him? Weiss scores with a jab to the head.

Brawler seems to have recovered his senses. Brawler fails in his attempt to clinch. Brawler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weiss paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brawler tries to clinch but Weiss is having none of it. Weiss keeps the fight on the outside. Brawler is looking to clinch but Weiss is avoiding it.

Oooh a lovely combination from Weiss sends Brawler down but not out. Weiss dives into side control looking to finish. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brawler sneaks out the side door and pushes Weiss away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Ray Brawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brawler wants to clinch up but Weiss keeps it at a distance. A slapping leg kick lands for Weiss.
Brawler tries to clinch but Weiss moves out of range. Weiss changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brawler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brawler takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Brawler parries the strikes from Weiss easily there. Weiss is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brawler to escape.
Weiss wants to control but Brawler is keeping him busy. Weiss has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Weiss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weiss scores with a crisp jab that stopped Brawler in his tracks. Brawler tries to close the distance and clinch but Weiss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brawler is looking to clinch but Weiss is avoiding it.
Weiss swings away with a leg kick that misses. Weiss has a takedown stuffed. Brawler is looking to clinch. Weiss looks to land a right hand but Brawler moved out of range. Brawler wants to clinch. Brawler tries for a takedown but Weiss circles away easily and Weiss counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Weiss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Weiss gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Brawler looks gassed! Weiss circles away from the clinch attempt and Weiss counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weiss scores with a jab. Brawler acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That has opened up Ray Brawler's cut even more. Brawler misses with a takedown attempt and Weiss counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Weiss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Weiss accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Weiss stands up from Brawler's guard - Weiss perhaps looking for a knockout. A slapping leg kick lands for Weiss.
Brawler takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A combination from Weiss does no damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weiss feints and then cracks Brawler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brawler down. Brawler tries to clinch but Weiss moves away and Weiss counters with a two punch combo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Weiss throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brawler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Weiss connects with a jab. A lazy left from Weiss finds it's target. Weiss moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Weiss lands a jab to the head.
Brawler tries to clinch and Weiss counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Brawler wants to stand and escape but Weiss is having none of it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joshua Weiss dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ray Brawler's cut. That's time! Weiss's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brawler tries to clinch but Weiss moves away and Brawler takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Brawler wants to clinch and Weiss counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brawler's guard now. Brawler wants to get back to his feet but Weiss is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Weiss throwing strikes but missing. Weiss tries to free his leg and advance position but Brawler is retaining full guard. Brawler wants to stand but Weiss is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weiss looking to sit in guard and control but Brawler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Brawler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Weiss looking for a sweep. Not yet Weiss, not yet. Weiss wants to improve his position but instead Brawler has moved into half guard.
Brawler wants to stand up but Weiss is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Weiss throws a one two combo.
Weiss is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brawler can do to turn this around? Brawler looks to clinch and Weiss counters with a series of strikes. Brawler will be more careful next time no doubt. Weiss circles away from the clinch attempt and Weiss counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brawler won't be happy with that. Joshua Weiss overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Weiss tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Brawler is trying to buck Weiss off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Weiss crashes against the mat.
Brawler regains half guard, as Weiss was trying to land strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brawler can do anything to dispel that myth. Brawler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Weiss stalling away here and it's allowed Brawler to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brawler wants to stand up but Weiss is controlling him. Weiss throws a strike but Brawler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Weiss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joshua Weiss dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ray Brawler's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Brawler darts in trying to clinch and Weiss counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brawler tries to clinch up and Weiss counters with a nice leg kick. Brawler wants to clinch but Weiss slips to the side and Weiss counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brawler closes the distance looking to clinch and Weiss counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brawler's guard now. Brawler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Weiss throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brawler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Weiss controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brawler keeping full guard, as Weiss tries to pass. Weiss distracts Brawler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Weiss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Weiss trying to control the position from guard on top but Brawler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brawler's head. Brawler regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Weiss. Brawler keeping full guard, as Weiss tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weiss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brawler can't keep his opponent in guard - Weiss advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Weiss is stalling here. Brawler is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Weiss seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Brawler has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Weiss sneaks back into half guard. Ray Brawler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Weiss wants to get back to full guard. Weiss is pressing down on Brawler's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Weiss tries to strike from the bottom.
Brawler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Weiss tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! Joshua Weiss showed his dominance in that final round. Well Weiss has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
