Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Handcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn comes to the cage accompanied by BRANDED by Faces Of Mars. Jason Handcock will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn drives through with a takedown into Handcock's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Quinn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Quinn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Handcock is proving hard to escape from. Quinn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Handcock is keeping the position for now. Quinn is working Handcock over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Handcock keeping full guard, as Quinn tries to pass. Quinn forces his way into half guard. Quinn tries to pass to full mount but Handcock defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Handcock defends it well. Handcock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quinn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Handcock is looking to improve his position.
Quinn is looking for submissions but instead, Handcock has regained full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quinn passes easily into side control. Nice work. Quinn taking a breather here. Quinn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn lands a decent elbow from side control. Quinn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Handcock has escaped the position, nice work there. Quinn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Quinn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Handcock, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Quinn dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Quinn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Handcock tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Quinn is in Handcock's guard. Quinn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Quinn stands up and waves to Handcock to follow him. Dan Quinn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Handcock clinches up with Quinn and pushes him back against the cage. Quinn lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Jason Handcock has been cut. Quinn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Handcock's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Handcock duly obliges. Quinn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Handcock misses with a right hand and Quinn counters with a single leg into guard. Handcock didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Quinn is looking to clinch but Handcock is avoiding it.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Handcock lands a nice uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Handcock. Quinn breaks from the clinch.

Quinn is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Quinn jumps guard.
Handcock won't allow Quinn to sweep him here. Quinn working for a triangle but Handcock defends it easily.

Quinn is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Handcock frees his head nicely. Oh but Quinn has switched to an armbar! Handcock is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
