The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali looks to land a combination but Velazquez avoids it well.
Muhammad Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Velazquez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Velazquez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Velazquez controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ali preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Velazquez is pushing down on Ali's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ali is fighting to maintain full guard but Velazquez has managed to sneak the leg through.
Velazquez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Velazquez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ali is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Velazquez has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Ali is tapping! This fight is all over!
