Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brighton Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnston comes to the cage accompanied by Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart. The crowd seem to be enjoying Glass's choice of entrance music: Birdman ft. Drake& Lil wayne-Money To Blow. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Glass! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnston keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Johnston bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnston is looking to take a break and control but Glass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Glass is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnston off and has taken his back! Johnston turns into Glass and is now in his guard.

Johnston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Glass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Glass lands with a heel strike from the guard.

Johnston has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnston doesn't succeed with the takedown and Glass counters with a nice double leg into guard. Johnston wants to sweep here but Glass controlling him for the moment. Johnston pulls Glass in to control the position. Johnston wants to stand and escape but Glass is having none of it. Glass is fighting to break Johnston's control of his arms but Johnston is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Glass tries to land a sweep but no joy. Johnston controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Johnston is looking to advance position but Glass has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnston manages to regain half guard. Good work. Glass is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Glass tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnston just stands there and leans against the cage. Glass ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Glass no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Johnston wants to control from the top but Glass keeps moving. Glass has his foot on Johnston's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnston works his way back into a safe position though. Glass lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnston! Glass trying to control but Johnston is having none of it. Johnston bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Glass throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Glass is looking for a triangle but Johnston pushes his legs off easily.
